During his long career as a Consulting Engineer he has worked with the world’s leading architects and urban planners. He believes that with excellence in sustainable design the environment and character of Cobham can be protected whilst accommodating responsible new development.

| Issue 1. | It should be a matter of high priority during the planning process that new developments genuinely respect and maintain the character of our community. [Report Post] | |
| Issue 2. | As as consequence of new development the burden on muncipal services such as traffic control, police and fire services, recycling facilities and infrastructure is increasing. As Councillor, Anthony would welcome an opportunity to work with the community to encourage the responsible agencies to maintain appropriate services in a fiscally responsible manner. [Report Post] |
Question ... 'Do you agree with david cameron that we should remain a part of and therefore ruled by the EU?' |
Anthony said ... 'With the number of rules originating from Brussels it is sometimes easy to feel we are being ruled by Brussels. I do not believe this is really the case. For our long term economic benefit we should remain part of the EU.' [Report Post] |
Question ... 'you say you want to deal with the police, fire services and traffic control, but all of these services are in the control of surrey COUNTY COUNCIL, NOT the BOROUGH council. Are you standing in the right election and what hae you done for Cobham so far? ' |
Anthony said ... 'In recent years there has been a considerable amount of new development in Cobham. There sometimes appears to be a gap between the increased demand for municipal services resulting from development and the ability of those responsible to keep pace with that increased demand. I believe that a local representative should be prepared to communicate on behalf of his constituency to those who are able to take appropriate action.
Thus far my community service to Cobham has been through my participation as Chairman of the Fairmile Estate Residents' Association. During my time as Chairman we have resolved a major flooding problem which had plagued the residents for many years.
